I Spy Horses/PA Coat of Arms

Horses are so tightly intertwined with human history that they seem to be part of the human collective memory. Even today, when most of their tasks involving agriculture, transportation and commerce have been taken over by mechanical power, we still refer to a unit of work as "horse-power" and the image of the horse is part of our collective consciousness as a symbol of power, class and status!

The Pennsylvania Coat of Arms is a good example! It was officially adopted in 1778 is featured on their flag and most of the official seals of Pennsylvania!
